Our journey began with heartfelt conversations around celebratory dinner tables, where we shared our dreams of creating something truly beautiful. Balancing busy lives as a business owner and a full-time teacher, we decided it was time to turn those dreams into reality. We dove headfirst into a business that lets us immerse ourselves in beautiful things—homewares, baby items, women's clothing, accessories, and most importantly, the joy of connecting with wonderful people.

And just like that, Bella Lou the Store was born. The name "Bella Lou" is a tribute to what we cherish most—our families. We blended the names of our beautiful daughters, Matilda Bella and Maddie Louise, to create a name that feels like home.

Our vision was clear, but the path wasn't always easy. Finding unique and beautiful pieces for our customers took effort, but we were determined. That's why we decided to create our own range of women's clothing - Bella Lou the Label. Our initial collection includes three timeless linen pieces—the oversized button-through shirt, the linen stretch grandpa shirt, and the classic linen shirtdress. Designed to be trans-seasonal and enduring, our range is crafted to remain a staple in your wardrobe for years to come. You can find these beautiful pieces in store.
